These are the mountains at the far end of the lake from the Lodge. This day was a really beautiful day. The weather was perfect for a hike, just nice and cool. The farther around the lake and above it you got the fewer the people. Spectacular views.

Nice light on the mountains and the colors looks quite natural. Like how you placed that awesome rock wall at the thirds position. Nicely done.

Great scenery, and a nice comp here! All this needs is a little exposure control, if your using PS than just a slight tweak of the S&H tool would do the trick quite nicely i think. :wavey:

Richard,

I like the mountain landscape and composition very much. Agree with Stan that this could use some exposure control, processing. I certainly understand the angle of the sun and that the LH mountain is mostly in shadow, but with a significant amount of real estate in the image, I think you could lighten that area up to balance out the light a little better. I think that might make a big improvement. And the image is certainly worth the extra processing.

A beautiful area, and I'd agree with Lon that with a little more post work you should be able to really make this sing (some more detail in the shadowed region would be great).
