RT Hawk in flight

Haven't been seeing much until this past weekend. This is from 3 weeks ago when I was out shooting old barns and this RT flew by. Just barely had enough time to get my birding rig out of the car so had to recover some of the whites. Also had clipped the bottom wing as the crop is from a horizontal shot. I grabbed this just as he banked and flew off.

Very nice textures and colors on the underwing, excellent sidelighting. I also like the side view of the head with that strong vertical banking pose.

Beautiful flight shot, Doug. Your post processing is first rate. The light looks wonderful to my eye, and the whites look fine.
