Lovely. Simply lovely. Nice that the bird isn't looking at the camera and is very calm. So cool there are so many of these rehab sites for birds now and they can use the ones unable to return to the wild for education.

Nice image. I like the good view of the claws and nice sharpness around the eyes. Sad he can't fly, but glad he has a home. *

Beautiful owl Patricia. I would have liked to have seen a cleaner background.

Beautiful detail and great eyes! He looks happy and healthy, even if not in the wild.
The lighter areas of the BG seem a little bright from here; perhaps some selective darkening would help.

Beautiful, Patricia. I really like the dof in this image with the softened trees in the bg.

I agree with Ronnie and Sandy's comments on this shot Patricia. The bright areas of the BG are a bit distracting. The owl itself is great from what I can discern from the 720px size. Nice exposure.

Patricia,
I am very glad that there are rescue groups that can take in injured birds.
I love the owl's pose, the nice details in the plumage and I love those eyes. Background issues have been covered. Great view of the talons.
