Richardson's Ground Squirrel (aka Gopher)
Montana

I get a laugh every time I view this image.

D200, f6.3, 1/1600, ISO 400, -0.3 EV, 200-400mm VR with 1.4x TC at 400mm, natural light, 49% of the original frame. I rotated this image slightly but there is a natural slope to the ground contour at this location. Light is a bit stronger than I like but at 8:44 in northern Montana in June the sun probably came up over 4 hours earlier.
