Gorgeous bird with a complementary background. I like the spider web coming off the perch. I would darken the perch just a bit to see what it looks like

Welcome to NPN Fabio :wavey: , a very nice first post. I really like the pose and detail you've captured of the kingfisher, as well as the smooth BG. To my eye the eye of the KF looks a bit soft, but it could just be the soft lighting or my old eyes. looking forward to seeing more from you.

Fabio,

Nice first post, I think this kingfisher species is beautiful, I like the pose, how thw head is tilted upwards, nice view of the eye, texture of the perch and I especially like the spiderwebs, glad you didn't remove those.

Welcome Fabio. I enjoy the overall composition with that long bill pointing to the frame corner and like the one foot up higher on the perch projection. Nice colors, interesting perch and the spider web is a nice addition. Strong first post.

Very good, Fabio. The lines of the perch and the kingfisher really work well together. The focus looks pretty good, though it looks like it might be on the side of the bird. It's usually best if you can get it on the eye. However, you have enough dof here to make it work. If it were mine, I'd be tempted to crop a bit from the right of the image-it feels to me like there's more empty space there than necessary. :toast:

I've looked back through your gallery to the first post, and what a great one to start off with Fabio.
Although I've seen this birds image many times, I never tire of its beauty..You really did it justice here.
Your comp is flawless and the colors pop. I especially like the birds pose/grasp of the this perch, and the web lines running down. It's the little things that make the difference
Excellent work :toast:
