Hi guys,

like the colour and lines in this on.
Taken on the 19th of October in Winter Gardens, an indoor garden in Scotland.


Any comments highly appreciated;)

45 mm
no flash, no tripod, no photoshop,
Nikon D2X

Personal Note: Do I just imagine that or are the pics always a bit darker once uploaded onto the website?
I got the impression, indeed.

some kind of succulent?
I really like the subtle yet defined colors here, and the diagnoal lines.
The bright white edge seems just a touch too bright and draws my eye from the detail of the in-focus leaf.
I also notice some of my images seem darker once posted - I often lighten a bit and re-post.

Well seen and captured. Nice abstract. I've noticed the web postings are somewhat darker, but not a lot...

Very interesting shot. I have a plant like this in my front yard . . . my own efforts to make an abstract with that (a few months ago) were not so successful. Good work, though a bit dark in the web presentation as you noted.
