this photo I took in Austria from top of mountain from there you can see Zell Am See. it was very hard to get up there and I waited for 3 hours waiting for sunset to get the colours.

I used Canon 5D mark II with Canon 17-40 and 0.6 GND and It was three exposure and I merge them through Photomatix.

First of all, Welcome Abdulmajeed to NPN, we would like to thank you for joining this community where I'm confident you will definitely enjoy each post you visit.

Abdulmajeed is a well known photographer who always brings unique ideas to life.

Your work is absolutely awesome, well exposed, and the milted ice in the FG gave more power

Wish to see more from you buddy

Definitely a compelling foreground here, Abdulmajeed. Another great thing is the mountain range - just lovely. The sky is intense with some contrails in there though, which I always hate to have up there. They screwed up so many of my nice shots.
Overall the shot feels a little blurry and mushy. Probably a result of the HDR process. I'd say you maybe try to modify your HDR workflow to avoid that or switch to manual blending which, if done right, will deliver about the same results with less "computer influence". Keep it up.

The over all feeling of this images is very nice. I like the feeling of depth and the colors. It does seem just a little soft though.

I really like the elements here. The "waves" of snow on the grassy slope make for an interesting foreground and the mountains and sky work very nicely too. Agree with Andreas that this could be sharper for jpg presentation.

I love the combination of the 'waves' of ice, the fresh green grass, and the epic mountains in the distance. I've never really been a fan of the typical 'photomatix' effects, which include reduced micro contrast and sharpness, flat mid tones, and overly 'smoggy' yellows in the sky.

I would strongly suggest trying to rework the image with manual blending techniques, which isn't as hard as you might think. Try looking at this tutorial to start: digital graduated neutral density filter.

Abdulmajeed,

Welcome to NPN and the ES&S Gallery! And thanks Aziz for bringing Abdulmajeed to NPN!

This is a lovely first post. A grand mountain scenic with a very interesting foreground mix of snow and grass. I think you did well to emphasize this feature of the landscape and you composed this very well.

I'm not really familiar with hdr processing or Photomatrix, but to me the processing doesn't look all that off to me. Perhaps some purple/blue in the shadows of the big mountains on the left, but overall this looks pretty good to me.

I would agree that this is a little soft for the web. You can find some posts about sharpening for the web if you search in the digital forum.

Welcome aboard!

Lon

Beautiful scene, I think with some of the suggestions posted here this could really sing.
