This was on the front counter at work and couldn't let them go by. They have a very strange bloom that just got me thinking of the season.
All comments and critique appreciated.

Bob, I like the POV. Having tried to capture these beauties before, getting the blom sharp from stamens/pistel down to the petals is a challenge. You've done a good job here.
For my tastes I might have blurred the BG to really have the bloom pop.

Beautiful color palette Bob. I've never seen one of these before. I like the composition here although I might clone out some of the bg blooms to separate the subject bloom from the bg. Beautiful image as posted for my tastes.

I'm pretty sure this is a Christmas Cactus. We also have one at work and it seems to bloom all year long under flourescent light.
Nice job on a very difficult subject. I was never satisfied with dof when I tried to shoot these but I really like what you've done here. It's tough to get details in the petals, anthers and everything else since these have so much depth. Nice work.

Bob: This is a Christmas cactus. I love the colors and your comp. This would work better for me if the POF was on the center details and not on the petals.>=))>

Robert:
Nice flower with bold colors. Like the POV. Wish the anthers was a little sharper - this may be a good candidate for focus stacking.

This is a fabulous rendering of what I take to be a schlumbergera, Bob. These are such awkward flowers to get an angle on, and I think this could not be better - it's just offering itself for a photo ! Beautiful colouring and nice, sharp detail, too.
