I took this quite awhile ago and had just gotten my zoom lens. The settings are a little wierd and I do know that I was playing with different settings and checking the histograph. Anyhow I liked this one and thought I would share.
Comments and critiques are always welcome.

Interesting image. Love the shrimp. Are those antennae or some type of fishing line? I would prefer a little more room at the bottom for his feet.

Angela, Those are the long feelers/antennae.When you have been shrimping and go to de-head them you grab a bunch of the feelers, pull thrm up and the shrimp dangle at different heights .Then you just pop the heads off and they are ready to cook.

Unfortunatly there is no more room at the botom.

Very nice exposure of the white plumage and fine details Dan.
Well framed and a good POV, the shrimp entwined with the fishing line makes one take a second & third look :)
Well done :toast:

Looks good to me, Dan. Sharp, well exposed and an interesting subject with that shrimp.

Dan, I like the feeding behavior and think the graphic lines added by the antennae of the shrimp are unique and interesting. Sharpness looks good.

Dan,

I like the pose, the shrimp in the bill and the nice view of the eye. I like how well the snowy egret stands out from the water color too.Sharpness looks good to me and the colors are very natural looking.
