Isle of Skye, Scotland

This was a bit of an exercise in frustration. The best light we had was on an afternoon scouting trip. Problem was that we took off in the wrong direction and the views weren't as good. I spent several mornings here but there was always something about the conditions that put me off. Couldn't complain too much about the final shoot here though.

Canon 5DMkII, 16-35mm 2.8L, GND filter.

The low angled light has really brought out some lovely contrast Kah. I like the punchy saturation, I think it suits the Autumn landscape. All your recent Scotland landscapes have been great and I have enjoyed viewing them.

The sky is tremendous! Then the dark foreground and details seen in the larger version add much rugged beauty. I like it.

This is beautiful. I just love the warm colors here, and the sky looks awesome. It must have been nice to be here to capture this wonderful scene after not working out other times.
