Fun shot. Would be an interesting find in your driveway after you returned from your trip!

What a creative capture. It almost looks like he could be driving the car. Now that I would not want to see.

Is this out at Medicine Lake? I think I got held up by the same ram.

Were you driving a Dodge Ram, that would certainly explain a lot.

Ever cool! What would bring it over the top for me would be for this mirror to be one where you could have this view and still read the stenciling, "Objects Are Closer Than They Appear." Thanks for the big grin.

Pete: This is on the road to Maligne Lake. There was a herd of 7 or 8. Weirdly 4 of them surrounded me and began licking the car. Finally I had to nudge them aside or I would have been there all day. I also got stopped by another herd on Hwy 16 the day before so they were certainly out in force in Jasper last week.

No so weird, Barry. They have learned about the deicing salts applied to wintertime roadways. It sticks to cars as you travel. It might keep the roads clean and accelerate rust on cars, but for the animals it converts your vehicle into a traveling salt/mineral block!

That was my first thought Lon, but I don't think they use salt on the roads up there for environmental reasons. They just throw dirt down on the road. Still, there must have been something tasty on that rental car!
