Geoffrey, Great capture, especially at 1/250th. The open beak pose really makes this image.

Cheers,

This image give an impression of visual elegance: very clean and simple in composition , made dynamic by the pose of the subject and the diagonal formed by the excellent perch , embellished with stripes created by falling drops .
Excellent work .

We had lots of these along with coal tits here in the midlands this year. The problem is they have all stayed so my food bill has increased significantly. Very nice simple composition with a lovely complementary background. Graham

Another excellent portrait- great composition, details and background ( the green is awesome, with a bit less noise should be perfect)- Merry Christmas, Fabio
