On a sunny but very cold day last week in Jasper National Park. This was supposed to be a color image but after working with it I decided that B&W better conveyed the essence of the scene.

C&C appreciated.

That's an amazing, crystal clear reflection and a beautiful winter scene. I'm wondering if you can tone down some of the whites on the mountain center frame and in the middle ground and show more texture there. Very nice!

I like this one Barry. The composition is very good. My only nit would be the trees on the left hand side of the water. The reflection of the trees is way too dark compared to the actual scene. I'm guessing the polarizer may have done this.

B&W works well here. Could see dodging out the highlights in the foreground snow to add a bit more texture/contrast to it.

Beautiful and quiet winter scene, Barry. I love the foreground ice/snow shapes, they add a lot of interest and keep me interested. The snowy peak has just the right amount of drama.

Very nice. I like how the bold shapes, the BW conversion and snow give this a crisp pristine look.

Barry,

Bold b&w reflectionscape. the tonal range is wide and excellent. Love the contrast here; makes me feel like I need to squint my eyes like one has to when visiting these high mountain scenes.

My only suggestion would be to slightly burn the whites above the trees on the left. Not too much as I wouldn't want to take away much of the contrast, but my eye is drawn there a little bit. I also like Tony's idea of the opposite with the highlights at the bottom.

Well done, great conversion.
