Hi guys,

like the dynamic in this shot. And the colour. Taken again in the indoor garden, Scotland.
There is not much in focus though- let me know if that's distracting or is irratating.
Any comments are as usual very appreciated.

Shutter speed 1/80
ISO 125
f 2.8
Nikon d2x
no tripod or flash
a bit of crop

Ta Sindy

I like the converging lines and the light to dark gradient. Lack of focus is not an issue to me. There is enough to identify by, and that is sufficient.

Just enough sharp tips to hold my interest, and a background that looks like successful movement blur. Works for me!

I think I would have preferred to have more in focus, and to have a bit more contrast, but in this case saying so is a bit awkward because I can also appreciate the image as is with its sweeping lines, gentle transitions, vibrant color, tonal progression, and theme and variations structure.

Beautiful abstraction and nice and soft with enough in focus to make it work. Really caught my eye while browsing thumbnails.

The lines and variations of turquiose color dominate this for me, beautifully. It's almost as if the focus was intentionally not razor sharp, to let us concentrate on the rest. I like it that way.

Very dynamic POV & the DOF is perfect for my tastes only if this were a bit sharper
