Would be one of my faves if it were mine. Very nice BG, and the pose and detail on the shrike are very good.

Ron, beautiful shot - maybe just a bit too much dead space in front?

A very nice shot of the bird and nice background colors. I'm a little apprehensive about being critical in any way about this fine shot but I would've liked it even more if there had been more perch visible under or in front of the bird so it wouldn't have the illusion of the bird being suspended in midair, but obviously you didn't have any control of that and obviously it's a fine shot as is.

One of the better images I've seen of the species Ron - right at the top. Everything about this is wonderful so I won't list everything it has going for it. Excellent!

Wow, this is really nice. Very nice composition, simple and uncluttered. And the BG is to die for. I'm noticing that when the BG is this nice that the lens is always a 500 mm. I am inching close to purchasing one soon.

Excellent shot, everything comes together on this. I really like the colored layered background to showcase the shrike, the larger image was a pleasure to view.

The trio of black lines in the face, wings and tail makes a very cool pattern. Sweet shot, Ron.

Like shrike image. Eye is nicely seen and demarcated from the surrounding black. Very difficult in this bird. Well done.
