Fantastic shot here, Doug. Perfect composition. I love the detail in the fur and the falling snow. I also like that the coyote's attention is focused away from the camera. Fantastic work!!

Beautiful Doug! The only thing that could make it better would be some geyser steam in the background.

Awesome comp and I like the low angle. The snow really makes for a clean image!

Great pose and excellent comp. Light levels look just right. I would consider backing off the sharpening just a touch.

The low perspective is perfect for a shot like this. Wonderful scene, Doug. Truly a winter wonderland. Can't wait to get out there in a couple weeks.

Lovely pose and great use of selective focus! That coyote really stands out well and yet is set nicely in a winter habitat.
A pity it is such a heavy crop, although the detail still looks great on the larger version.

Nice composition and detail on the coyote, the falling snow adds to the effect, good job handling the white snow color, the larger image looks great, well done.

Beautiful shot. I like the hint of trees on the distant mountainside.

Excellent pose, he seems unaware or indifferent at least of your presence. Love the dof, just perfect. Makes me want to go out and work on this species more. :toast:

This is a beautiful image! It looks like the detail is excellent for a 40 % crop. I would like to see the uncropped version as well. I can see this image being published for many uses with the different cropping options.
