Keep thinking you won't be able to top the last cypress image, but you've done it again. The fog sets a different mood than the previous images. All great, but different. Congratulations on another winner!

I really don't think there's a person in the world with a better Cypress portfolio. This isn't my favorite, but it's still quite amazing. Definitely a different mood with the fog there.

David,

It is clear that you know your subject very well as each one of these brings out a different and deeper facet. Wonderful work.

David, your work introduced me to these magical trees and they seem to be getting more beautiful with every new image. This is almost mythical. So different from anything I have seen in person.

Very "moody" photo.
The flick of color of the leaves is enough contrast to make this a great photo.
Trunk is well placed; the lines from the limbs in the upper portion leads the eye to the other side of the photo covering the whole photo.
This is a wonderful shot and excellent processing.

Fantastic! This has to be one of the most mysterious of environments. The tree frames the scene very nicely, allowing just enough of what's behind to be seen.

Kinda reminds me of thre swamp where Yoda taught Luke Skywalker how to lift submerged aircraft. Beautiful image though David, and captured at what I imagine was the perfect moment.
