A beautiful image Karen.
I reckon we're all a bit mad to be out taking photos in this weather so you're not alone
Well done.

Geoff.

Really beautiful Karen. Terrific job on the exposure, with detail in botht he blacks and whites. Great catchlight to show the eye, and a wonderful frosty setting. :toast:

Love the simple comp here Karen. Really nice DOF getting the entire bird sharp. Nice exposure and the frost adds to place and time. Very nice.

I think I recognise this little fellow Karen. It's certainly been cold here in the West Midlands recently but the frost on the perch gives the image more impact. I like the pose of the bird , the detail looks terrific and using f9 has given good depth of detail throughout the bird. Graham

Subject is well exposed, sharp and full of details. Love the frost on the perch and there's not too much contrast between the bird and the lighter background - lovely image.

Beautiful shot Karen. Great detail in the Willow Tit and nice exposure in handling the black and white. Makes one cold looking at the photograph.
