Seeing Simons terrific Little Owl prompted me to post this early morning shot from the spring. I am fortunate to have full access to two large wildife friendly farms in Essex, UK, with three resident pairs of Little Owls. I spend many hours shooting stills and video of them and I love every minute.

I have a small four wheel drive that I use as a hide and the Owls are totally used to me being there even coming to within a couple of metres of my window.

Canon 5D MkII-300 2.8-ISO400-f10-1/125-resting on a piece of pipe lagging slotted on top of the door glass.

f10 got them both in focus. A slight crop to reduce the area of foliage.

Are you sure you haven't used the clonestamp tool on this?! :wink:

That's a bit different Bob and a nice capture, especially with them both adopting exactly the same stance like that.

Lovely picture Bob, Im having trouble finding little owls in Herts perhaps I should cross the border! Again lovely shoot to get them both looking at you.
