Reflections at Lobos

Hi all,

From a nearby lagoon I was lucjky to get a day without wind, ideal for a mirror-like reflection. Somehow a storm had disrupted the boats hours before and they were randomly floating in the lagoon. I was lucky to get both things at the same time as it would be hard to repeat the conditions.

Canon 40D and Tamron 17-50 2.8 lens stitched from 6 shots.

Thanks for the feedback!

You gotta love those clouds and reflection! A very beautiful image, Luis.

Stunning scene, Luis, and you've captured its drama well. Amazing that it was all still enough for you to stitch 6 shots together! While beautiful as is, the boats are a bit overwhelmed by the big dramatic sky... I wonder how it would look with a tighter crop eliminating 2/3 of the sky (since it is seen in the water as well)?

Dramatic sky Luis but II am a little puzzled with the green tint in the bottom of the frame.

Nice sky and reflection, and the boats anchor the image well.

What a great photo! It all came together for you. I also would like to see a horizontal crop with more boats and less sky.

Luis, This is awesome! Don't think I have ever seen anything quite like it. Looking at the large version it feels like the boats are floating in the air. Very impressive, and now I can't stop looking at it.
