Bempton Peregrine

I took this shot in July at the Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve just to the north of Bridlington in Yorkshire, UK. I had seen it the night before and set up for it at 5.30 AM taking this shot at 6.30

Canon EOS 50D 500f4 & 1.4X - ISO 250 f8 1/1000 - Manfrotto tripod & 393 head

Once I had the stills I tried to video it with my 5D MKII & 500-f4 with some hilarious results. To start with I had a hard time keeping it in the frame and in focus, plus I forgot to switch the microphone on! I eventually got the hang of it and the resulting video including the 'out takes' goes down well at my talks.

Well done Bob.
When it comes to birds in flight you'd be an expert, compared to my feeble attempts.

Great view of the underwing and good sharpness early morning gave you some nice light.
