Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) - Essex.

Nikon D3, 200-400/f4, WH2 + Gitzo 3530LSV.
Manual exposure mode f4, 1/400, iso 1600.
RAW image processed in Capture One; sharpened in Photoshop CS5; noise reduction using Noiseware Professional; full frame.

Again, the title says it all (or would do if the dialogue box would accept a few more characters :mad: ) ..... more to come.

Loving this series Phil - a proper country fox in snow. Shows off the coat wonderfully.

The foxes I usually see are urban and get in a terrible state pretty young in their lives.

Another cracking fox shot, Phil. Very envious and this must have been a wonderful experience to work so close to this gorgeous creature. Are you using a hide of some description?

Like that shaggy look, head turn and stare, good colour and ridgeline helps composition. :toast:
