Beautiful male in his winter habitat. I know this male for several years now and he's quite a character. Arrogant but careful. I've waited nearby a tracking route. They've used this route for many generations. This time I was lucky.

A beautiful setting and just enough colour in the sky to keep it interesting.

Really like this one. Conveys the environment and harsh conditions really well. :toast: :toast:

Is that some new glass ? If it is it's certainly made a marked improvement....LOL
You are supposed to use 500mm to get closer ...

Hi Edwin, this for me is the way to see a Stag, in a fantastic location and enough subtle colours to really emphasis it's grandeur, perfect Edwin and this 'larger version' really makes these images. :toast: :toast:

I love the pastel wintry colours in this one. Perfect positioning of stag too. I might take a little off the top.

Loving the pastel colours. I can see the vignette creeping in - I get that too with my 500 on the full frame body, easily corrected though.

I love the wide open spaces in this shot Edwin. They make the whole setting feel wilder and more remote and the atmosphere it creates is brilliant.
