I liked this pose - it reminds me of Snoopy's "vulture" pose on top of his dog house.
Bright mid-day sun - I did my best to minimize it's effects.

You stated everything I was going to say in your own comments. Tough light, but you handled it well. And, I like the pose.

A great pose Sandy. I like the comp too. To me the legs are a bit bright. Bring those down and your handling of the light was great.

Nice job getting the hawk in the clear Sandy. I like the look of concentration we're getting from the bird. Difficult light but you did well with it.

Sandy,

Your comment about Snoppy's "hawk" pose on top of his doghouse had me chuckling, it does remind me of that! I like the pose a lot, the nice view of the eye and the setting. I agree with Ron B on the brightness of the legs, I'd try to bring those down slightly. I think you did well with the bright light

This one had me laughing, especially with your Snoopy comment. Nice detail. Agreed on the brightness. A little selective burning in the hotter areas would improve this for me. Thanks for sharing a great pose!

thnks, already brought down the legs and neck a great deal - more made them look gray.

Nice details & framing, love the shoulder hunched-up pose Sandy.
You managed the exposure well, looks like it was tough light..
Well done & Merry Christmas :wavey:
