This is one of those deals where I was out searching for landscapes and while working my way back to the vehicle I discovered these leaves and grasses covered by a thin layer of melting ice. Being tired and hungry I neglected to check all the settings. Didn't need the ISO that high but I don't think it hurt the image. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.

Beautifully done. I like the lush greens and the patterns in the ice, Bruce. Did you happen to get any other comps focused even tighter on the ice patterns?

Beautiful image Bruce. No noise as far as I can see. The colors and clarity are very striking. I like this one a lot.

No Ed I didn't. I was pretty much done for the day when I came across this. I just grabbed a few shots and headed for the barn. In hindsight I wish I would have.

Nice find and capture. Like the fresh greenery and the transparent glass-like ice. Most of the action seems to be in the lower half of the image - so might be tempted to crop the top and make this more focussed (not sure but worth experimenting with this interesting image).
