I headed out to the Botanic Garden today (early Christmas gift!) and found these beautiful roses (inside, of course). All C&C welcome and appreciated!

Merry Christmas, everyone!
Thanks for looking,
Anne

Rich and beautiful Anne. I might try to draw the edges out a little in the bg petals or maybe crop in from the upper right corner. Gorgeous as is, though.

Anne:
Love the soft swirls of the white petals which is difficult to do and you have achieved this admirably.
Merry Christmas.

Anne, Well done. The position of the rose, the shadows, the white on white.

Merry Christmas.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I went back yesterday to try a few more angles, but someone must have picked the good blossoms...
Merry Christmas!

"...What's in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet." I can't begin to imagine how much fun focusing must have been!...soft, subtle, dreamy! By the way, your Edison quote........."genial!"

Cropping this tighter helped me to appreciate the swirl more, which is very masterfully done, Anne. Very nice.
