Happy New Year!

Here's a shot of me on my first nature photography trip since October. Thought I would update the mug shot. Following successful chemotherapy (starting in June) my hair just started growing back about three weeks ago, and now I have enough chin protection to venture outside again.

With blood cells still below normal, I can't go far, but it's great to be out again, and posting here. Thanks to Jim and everyone at NPN who provided good wishes, prayers and encouragement during a my ordeal.

Shot by my friend Dave, and edited by me with a touch of Topaz Simplify.

It's so GREAT to hear of your progress and I'm so HAPPY for you that you are now out and about braving the cold temps and getting some photography in. although I must say you look like you're dressed for a duck hunt more than anything.....

Wayne: About the only way you would ever see me in a shot like this if it was in a studio (well heated) with this as a back drop. BRRRrrrr! Great to see you out and about with camera in hand. May 2011 be filled with good subjects and even better light. >=))>
