Black Swan Remembered

This swan along with two others were brought to our local lake by the family in remembrance of a Nassau Bay resident who died some years earlier. While on my daily lake walk last week I realized that I had not seen the remaining swan in some time. I found out the last swan died a while back. So I decided to post an image that I took about 9 months ago to remember our black swans.

I think it was hand held

Nice post, Dottie. Sorry to hear about the swan. The black and red are really dramatic here and you've got quite a bit of detail in the blacks. Love the water droplets. Well done.

These are graceful birds and this one is no exception. The water drops add a lot of interest.

I think you captured a very nice moment here with the head position and water drops.
