Spirit of the Trees

While on my trip to Glacier National Park in the fall of 2010, I was spending some time in the different aspen groves. I decided to try experimenting with panning while shooting. I do like the impressionistic feel of these images. I am not sure if what I have here is just "run of the mill" image here, or does this have some artistic appeal? I used Lightroom to process the image. Any comments would be appreciated being that I am far from a art expert

Very pretty abstract, and a great color combination. I also really like the approx. 50/50 split top to bottom.

This definitely has artistic appeal to me. I agree with Bill about the top/bottom split, and also the rich glow of the yellow/gold you have here is very appealing in this image.

Thanks for the comments  I also like the 50/50 balance of the image. The larger photo presentation works more for me.

Not "run of the mill" to me James. Very cool!

Thanks for the input  I feel the same way about the image, being an abstract and impressionistic, this is all new for me

IMO the trees are just a little to blurry here James, but the color contrast is really nice. I would like to see just a little more texture in the trees even for an abstract like this.
