Freezing but what a sight. Icon(s) alert... The intense flash of color sure didn't last very long, but what was really amazing was to watch the dawning light form the mountain and city ever so slowly and softly until the instant of this image.
D 700, 24-70 at 70, handheld (correction! tripod!); f 13, 1/10, ISO 320.

What a view, and what a sunrise! My future home... sure is a lot nicer than LA! My only nit is I wish the lights were on.. but I guess it has to be a sunset for that, and not a holiday.

A view of my 2nd favorite city Catherine (sorry NYC is 1st)! Fantastic sky and just enough detail in the shadows for me. Beautiful capture.
I have visited Seattle many times and I was always impressed with the "in you face" presence of Mt Rainer. I have actually been to Seattle more times than Nova Scotia.
