Thick-Billed Vireo

Thick-Billed Vireo (Vireo crassirostris)
This vireo was on the Mastic Trail, Grand Cayman in December. It has a very limited range: just a few islands in the Caribbean.
I like this image because, although the bird is really not doing anything interesting, it's a pretty little bird and we have a very nice view of it. It didn't stay on this branch for very long. There is some vegetation around but I don't think it is a major distraction (at least, I hope not!).
For me, small bird often means large crop. That's the case here. It's a pretty high ISO too but quite manageable for this camera. There is plenty of detail showing.
All comments very welcome.
1D Mark IV, 400 mm f/5.6, 1.4x TC, hand held: ISO 1600, 1/800 s, f/8, 0 EV, 4.0 MP after cropping, usual NR, exposure adjustment, sharpening.

I did quite a bit of shooting when I first bought the 1D M3 at ISO 1600. Mostly for action shots. Was amazed at the image quality. Even with NR, an originally sharp image looked great. This one has held its sharpness/detail well, even with the good amount of NR you have applied.
Beautiful bird, well done
