You don't see many photos of these critters! Nice job, do wish the head was turned more towards the camera, still well exposed and good detail. Thanks much for sharing.

Wow. Now that is an unusual almost prehistoric looking critter. Sounds like people don't even encounter these guys very often so a great image from the get go. You have held the light well and the details are good. Excellent capture.

I like this one perhaps a bit more than the first, the exposure appears better with the highlights retaining more detail and the colors a little "nicer". Very strange creature, mammal with scales, what a design!!!

Very good idea to go pano on this one Ken. It works well for this shot. I do like the other one better though, mostly because I like the curves in the shot.

Thanks for sharing another one of your Pangolin encounter Ken. It does make me even more envious though. The pano crop work due to the body shape and the image shows the animal well when in motion. I do think your previous post is the much stronger image because of the nice curves.

Knowing that it took 12 years for an ardent wildlife person like you to get this species, Ken....I will take any image of this species, this is special !

Thanks to everybody for your comments, it is a rare privilege to see these scarce animals.
It is in fact our second sighting in 12 years, the first was in long grass and very dark light.
