Mutzbach
by R.Bill Moser
This photo was taken last december on a cloudy afternoon It shows a small waterfall in switzerland. It's called "Mutzbach Falls" and is not in a typical tourist region in switzerland.
I'm not quiet sure if this composition works well since it's a bit busy caused by the trees in the background.
Techs: Nikon D700,f16, 0.8 sec, iso 200
Thanks for any comments and thoughts.

4 commentsI like the composition and the small stream works very well as a lead-in to the falls. I might agree with you though that the trees up top aren't helping. What happens for me is that there is little to distinguish the top of the falls. They're somewhat far away and the top of the falls merges with the trees.
Technically, I think the exposure, color, contrast, and even depth are all excellent here. Snow looks good too and not too overwhelming especially in the larger version.
A lovely winter image even considering my first comment.

Hard to know what to suggest, but I'm wondering if you were able to scamper up stream for a closer view?
I took another shot from a bit farther upstream.
I will show it here as soon as it's processed.
