Canon 7D, EF500 f/4 + 1.4x, tripod set flat, ISO400, f/6.3, 1/1000, slight crop for composition from top and left.

Wonderful image. Grebe here is much more colorful than those in my area. Great background and reflection. Excellent on the sharpness. The light, the water drops-everything is top rate.

Really nice Simon. Just a stunning little bird. Love the red on the head and neck. Wonderful exposure, detail, and comp. The water is stellar. Very well done indeed.

This looks like our little grebe. Beautiful colours throughout and you've got a lovely reflection there considering he looks to be moving in the water. The low angle makes such a difference to these type of shots. Graham
