One from May of last year, taken early one morning whilst waiting for the Barn Owls that also frequent this site.

1/160th @ f5.6 +2/3rds iso400 from Car Window ( FF with a little off the top and right to aid the comp )

All C&C's most welcome and thanks for looking.

Andy...

Andy - I like the color of those eyes with the yellow/greens of the bakground and for me the perch is very interesting. I agree with Charlie about the dimensional effect here.

Nice composition, Andy. I like the size of the bird in the frame in this case-fit's a small owl. :toast:

I really like the way that you have composed this Andy. It really emphasizes the small size of this owl. The rim lighting on the owl is really nice. Great image.

Very nice layering in this shot, and the edge lighting on the owl is elegant.

Love the size of the owl in the frame Andy, I appreciate birds that are small in the frame when they are compsed well, as yours is. Love the eyes.

Really like the setting and comp Andy. You're spoilt having owls in daylight.

I too like this comp Andy. The perch post is awesome and the little owl shines with those eyes. For me the sharp vege in front adds as well.
