My goal last Spring was to photograph one of Oregon's top waterfalls from a unique perspective.

I'm off to Utah tomorrow with stops at Bryce Canyon and the Wave! Have a great week everyone!

Canon 7D, Canon 70-200mm, ISO 100, f/11, 1/6 sec.

I think you nailed it! This is for sure a fresh take on this waterfall to my eyes. Nicely done too!

A very serene capture Justin. I love the green saturation, It feels like new growth to me. Nice to see some green too, Winter finally arrived in my part of the world. Cheers

This is quite effective, Justin. Really like the green-white-green layering.

I like this Justin, it is a different comp from what I have seen of these falls

Beautiful, Justin. Love the intense, almost Velvia-like, greens, and the nice deep shadows that do not overwhelm the image at all. Really nicely done.

This is beautiful, Justin. Great comp, great feel. The water looks fantastic and I really like the branch and nice green leaves from the right. Very nice work.

Cool! The green-white contrast is awesome, and i like how you placed the fg tree so it doesnt interfere too much with the main falls--a nice comp. My only minor reservation is the bg looks a bit murky/dark on this (uncalibrated) monitor. :wavey:

I think I just felt a splash hit me in the face. Beautiful shot with great light and color. I like the balance of the greens also.

I like it, Justin, but I think the log breaks the "rhythm" of the scene a bit. I also like the right side of the frame cropped into a vertical.

Justin,

Beautiful and dreamy. A little Orton? It has that glow to it, which I like very much in this image. I love the green leaves on the right and think there's an image there just of that, but as presented this works well as the horizontal that you captured. A little empty in the LLC, otherwise this is quite lovely. I really like the clean whites of the falls too.

Justin, it is really refreshing to look at your shot; although a mighty fall, the water appears like a delicate veil. I like it.
