Or at least a resting beauty. Went to Florida over Christmas,spent one afternoon at Homosassa Park. The birds were beautiful. Handheld f/5.6 1/200 ISO 400 75-300@300 He/She was standing typical flamingo pose on one leg in the water.

creative and distinct. I think this could benefit from a lower angle but was likely not possible.

Fantastic lines, Dottie. I really like the way the lines of the water work with those of the Flamingo. The eye showing is a great bonus. Very well done.

Wow, the flowing lines in this image are over-the-top. From the gentle waves of the water in the background, to the feathers, to the neck curve -- everything works here for me! Gorgeous tones bring this one over the top.

The colors are wonderful and I like the curvy lines of the bird. A lower angle may have eliminated the water and with its texture I am glad it is there. The one thing I find myself wishing is that we had a clearer view of the eye because flamingos have lovely eyes.

I like the way the curves of the neck lead you into the photo here. Well seen. I agree with Mia that a little better view of the eye would really make this. Sharon
