A quiet and beautiful morning in the Dolomites. Shot from Rifugio Son Forca on Monte Cristallo in August last year.

I like the drama in the scene - the heavy clouds, the warm light on the mountains and the winding road. I would clone out those towers though (depending on your use of this photo) as I find them distracting and tihnk they stick out like sore thumbs.

Man this is a spectacular scene. Gorgeous. Personally I'm kind of glad you left the towers, its what you would see if you actually went there. I'd rather that they weren't there but that is reality. (Know what they are for?)

Wow ! So many things to look at. This is a great mood shot. I'm ambivalent about the towers. Gone it makes a cleaner shot but with them there it gives scale to the shot. The fog floating through the trees and valley adds a softness to the overall feel of the shot.

Wonderful image Dorin. I love the layers of warm light and cool clouds. Beautiful work (and glad the towers and road are there so you could post it here)!

Thank you so much for the comments, guys. Although I'm going to keep the original as the towers really add at showing the scale, here's a version without them.
Jeremy, they're most likely communication towers.

Great scene Dorin, beautiful image and capture! Is it me or my monitor, but is there some sort of large funky spot going on above the right hand peak?? I'm definitely seeing what appears to be a blotch of some sort. I know it's darker there because the sun is being blocked, but it just doesn't look natural, sorry, kinda curious!

Thanks for the comment, Bill. What you see there is just a dissipating cloud. If you look closely, you can see it the left portion of the sky too.

Thank you for telling me that Dorin, I knew if I was seeing it and no one else had commented on it, I must be missing something--as usual!!! Very impressive.

Wow, this image conveys the massiveness of the peak extremely well. Composition, light and the low clouds in the valley all work very well together.
