Here's another version of the Mutzbach Falls in switzerland. A small waterfall in the swiss middle land. this comp is slightly different a little bit more up stream closer to the falls. Actually i like this one better than the other one

Techs: Nikon D700,f18, 1.0 sec, iso 200
Thanks for any comments and thoughts.

Hi Bill, either you've been scarce lately or my timing has been off but it's good to see an image from you, I've always enjoyed your work. Great fg in this one. The R middle and bg seem a little busy but you've done a nice job reigning in the chaos. :toast:

Bill, your pictures from this location are very interesting for me; I prefer this last version too. An even tighter cropping, at the top as well as at the bottom, might be useful to pronounce the shape of the falls. I become curious to see some more shots from these falls!

Very nice comp to lead the eye to the falls. A lovely scene, and yes, I'm sure you would have preferred to not have the trees and limbs on the right in your scene, it is accurate as to them being where they are. Nice shot!

Nice shot Bill. I really like the foreground here which leads the eye back to the falls. The icicles around the falls really add to the scene.

Nice composition! I think it's fine with the branches. Did you get up and do anything with those icicles?

Wonderful work, love the rich browns and crisp snow together. Beautifully seen and captured!

Bill,

While I think I liked the foreground elements a little better in the previous version, overall, this composition works better for me. It's mostly because the falls themselves are better represented here and the issue I had before about the top of the falls merging with the forest above, is so much better here. Getting a bit closer helped to simplify and improve the capture, IMO.
