Yup, more potholes. I originally included a portion of the ocean and nice clouds above in this image, but liked the pano crop of just the potholes a little better. The reflected light in the pools was quite the sight.

Oh, yeah, the radial lines in the comp work great here! Fascinating pools and nice color.

The combination of these interesting potholes, the reflected light and the wide-angle lines works really well. I see the point here with the crop, but in a way I am tempted to see these features in a wider context with the landscape.

Jimmy,

Excellent choice on the narrow format - I think this captures and displays these formations beautifully. I like the gradation of color left to right as these little holes are reflecting different parts of the sky - another reason why the wide format works here.

The only suggestion I have would be to burn down the bright area up top left of center. A slight distraction.

Ditto what Lon said. Why repeat it? Well done.

I just love the alienness of these formations and the broken reflections of the sky. I might try cropping off the bottom so as to only leave potholes in the frame. :toast:

Likin' this better for sure. Could see cropping a bit more off the top.

Looks alien like! Lovely light reflecting in the water too. I like the tighter composition. These kind of remind me of Albatross nests too.

It's about time you got a pano crop of these darn potholes, now you need vertical pano too! They look endless this way Jimmy.

Make a circle, make a circle! Those potholes must shake when they see you coming, Jimmy. I do like the shot, although I think it might have had more depth with the ocean and clouds you omitted. Looks pretty sharp to me too. I am wondering about the reflections in the water though; blue on one side and and magenta on the other ? ...

I definitely enjoy all of the images you've posted from this spot, and this is no exception. Really cool potholes, and I love the reflected sunset clouds!
