WC#467 Homemade geyser

While we were walking in the wood, my husband passed on a sheet of ice and from a hole came out a big bubble of water. We tried to recreate the event to photograph that special effect. After many attempts, this is the "biggest geyser" that we could get..... ok, not so big.
Larger version included to admire the effect in high resolution .

Thanks for viewing.

Monica,

Interesting and cool. It's very abstract but I do like the frozen bubbles and the story.

I agree --interesting and abstract. As always a good Eye! It would be interesting to see what you would do with this situation with your current skills.

Good story and posting!

Yes, this would definitely not pass as a geyser, but it's a pretty cool bubble! I love the colors.

Monica, interesting presentation indeed ! But, as far as the image, to be honest, I'm a little puzzled...

Monica, I like it as an abstract, the depth of field works well.

Very unusual shot, Monica. Nice detail in places. Strange position of the OOF regions.. Also, as far as I can see, there is nothing in the image to serve as a reference size. So this geyser really could be huge! From this picture it could be any size!

Cool image Monica! Just visited Mia's post..
Almost called you by her name
I find the LP rich with fine details that simply "bubble" with enthusiasm
Great job, you never cease to amaze me
