Reddish Egret

The fog had just started to lift as the sun was trying to burn through the overcast on Sunrise Lagoon. I waited as this Reddish Egret was fairly close and captured several shots as he moved in front of me. Of the shots I made I like this image for the simple elegance this gorgeous bird displays.

Ft. De Soto Park, FL

This has an excellent "atmosphere" to it, and a peaceful feel..
Excellent details, colors, comp, and POV.
I especially like the light here, and this low key look :toast:

Well done Chuck, I like the low angle and the beak just barely touching the water. :toast:

Nice comp Chuck. Love the sharp head and pose. Water is real nice too. Not sure, but this might need just a bit of CW rotation. Could be an optical illusion as well.

Chuck, I love the subtle colors and "mood" here, from the fog.
Nice detail, pose, and bit of reflection.

Chuck,

Love the egret's intensity in this photo and how the fog is evident but doesn't seem to soften the bird, just its surroundings. Nice low angle too! I like this for the reason you stated. Wonderful natural colors.

I enjoy these foggy images when well done and IMO this one is just that Chuck. Good job on the low angle and natural colors.
