Although taken in March 09 I loved the fall colored BG.I was playing with the settings and used too high and ISO-too fast a shutter speed but was pleased anyway. I used a great deal of NR on the BG to compensate for the ISO.

great light, Dan, and sweet colors and textures in the water. I like the intent pose of the bird, but do think that detail in the bird may have suffered a bit from the ISO.

The colors are dreamy and that little "perch" is cool too. Just wish for a bit more DOF for increased sharpness on the log.

Lovely light Dan and the water color is just gorgeous. There are a few areas on the legs and chest of the heron that look a little hot, you might be able to tame those in RAW, still I love the mood of this image

A few hot spots as mentioned but I really like the warm colors and setting of this one. A nicely angled pose too. If mine, I'd remove the OOF stalks across the log.
