Sweet pose Angela, feel like I'm right there watching the gull float above the water and maneuver itself. The water dripping off the bird onto the surface of the lake is very nice. Great light weight set up that 70-200 with a 2X.

Great timing re the wing position, Angela. It nice to see a RbG in adult plumage, all the one's that turn up in the UK are dull juveniles.

Great pose and setting Angela, love the water droplets below the bird. Really nice that this shows the red gape. The whites look good to me except for the leading edge of the wing in the back, you could reduce exposure a little globbaly and that might help there.

Love the swooping wings and the dropping water. Jealous of this one.
Separately, I'm looking forward to seeing you in March in south Texas.

Neat, dynamic position here Angela, you did about as well as you could with the exposure I think, if you globally darken I think the dark areas will be too dark. If you are using cs5 or lightroom you could selectively darken that wing area. :toast:
