One of the best spots on the Isle of Skye for a good sunset image, the harbor at Elgol is very popular with photographers (especially since an image from here won an award). SO this is probably not the most original image, but I was very satisfied with it.

Let me know what you think, and please view large!

Epic moment and great shot. The sky is crazy. Personally I would go for a little more red/yellow on the foreground rocks and maybe a bit more blue/magenta on the water. But that's just my taste. Wonderful job, Jorne.

Lovely shot and conditions Jorne. The image is slightly "contrasty" for my tastes, especially the blacks in the rocks. That being said - very sweet work!

Looks good. Very nice contrasting colors. The name and the light both give an "elfin" feel.

Jorne,

Great shot. The re-post definitely added magic to the sky. Your composition choice, focusing on the bunch of rocks in the foreground, looks great.

That is a great warm/cool contrast of colors shot.

Some of those highlight spots seem kinda over-cooked, but the rest of it all works so well I'm not sure it's much of an issue that a non photographer would whine about. I love the color of the water, in contrast to the vibrant skies.
