Neist Point at Sunset

I don't do a lot of man and nature images, but this scene I just had to capture, some great sunset light at the Neist Point lighthouse at the outer tip of the Isle of Skye. Really a photogenic location for a lighthouse.

Let me know what you think!

Great light and color Jorne! The people in the scene give a sense of scale to this beautiful, rugged place.

The sky is majestic! Rugged coastline...and wonderful character in those foreground boulders. I would like to see a tad more detail on the shadows...nonetheless, an excellent composition and finely tuned photo. Ken S

You've certainly done the place justice Jorne, it's a great shot.

Beautiful, and I too like the scale provided by the people. Makes me yearn to return to Skye, and to see Neist Point for the first time.

Great job! Very few photos of the Neist Point lighthouse work for me compositionally due to big hump in the middle of the peninsula but the inclusion of the humans and the viewpoint are perfect. The clouds make it all come together. :toast:
