Starfish Awash

This was taken on Cape Point at Cape Hatteras, NC two weeks ago just prior to sunset, giving great warm colors. Several small starfish had washed up on shore & made for some interesting scenery. This shot was one of several attempts to get them as the waves washed in. Staying dry and getting the shot were a challenge.

Wick, this is very cool. I really like the foreground sand and starfish grouping.

A great subject and the water action gives a lot of meaning to it. It's elegant, dynamic and visually, very interesting.
