Bill, it is incredible what you show us, I am absorbed in looking at the underwater details. Such a consistent and steady composition, with just a slightest motion in the water - congratulations!

Wonderful detail and composition. I like that you can see the fish in the water and the placement of the trees to see the Matterhorn. The larger version looks great, well done.

What an incredible mountain. I might wish to see a horizontal, or a crop with less sky. Regardless, this is absolutely excellent. :toast: :toast:

This is beautiful. The colors and reflection are fantastic. Interesting being able to see all the fish in the clear water. Very nice work Bill.

Sweet - I LOVE the fact that there are fish in the water! i could definitely see a crop of some of the sky, and maybe a sliver off the left side...

Love the colored trees and the little ripple in the water. Wish there had been some clouds, but still very pretty.

Amazing colors, clarity, and details. I think cropping a bit of the sky would make it even stronger.

Cool shot Bill. The fish are a great element, as far as the cropped sky suggestion, it wouldn't hurt but It's no bigg deal. Excellent as presented. :toast:

I like how the Matterhorn sort of plays second fiddle to the larches. It's a fine image. Could see cropping some of the sky.

Really like the colors and fish in this! It's a very pleasing color palette for sure. I think the crop with the center line exactly center does work, but I find myself wondering what it would look like if there was a little more water and a little less sky (and/or maybe a little darker sky?).

Wonderful image. I agree that a slight crop of the sky would strengthen an already strong image. :jump:

One more vote for a crop off of the top as it seems to make the Matterhorn more prominent. Otherwise this is a great shot. I really like the color, light, and the cloud cap on the mountain adds another element to an already excellent image.

Bill,

The Matterhorn seems so distant, yet fits so perfectly in the line of trees. Very nice "reflectionscape." I just now noticed all the little fishies in the water; very cool.

The only suggestion I have would be cropping off some of the sky for a more balanced composition - but then all that sky is great for Headings and text!

Hehe ... have you been there on the same day as I was (October 15th). This one looks almost the same as the one I took there - even the cloud on the Matterhorn is similar. Look here for my version ... http://www.andreasresch.at/upload/images/Matterhorn_02.html
Having said that - very nice one. I like the little warmer tone in comparison to my version.

andreas, thanks for your feedback, too. I appreciate. I was up there a week before you...think it was october 9th........I already saw your image. And you're right it really looks very similar. when I saw yours I also thought " Hey, were you there the same day as I was there"...the cloud looks so similar.
