I posted this image a while back. It a sail boat on Resurrection bay near Seward, AK. The reason I am reposting it is because this image just won Best in Show in the Adult division in an open photographic competition here in Scottsbluff. I realize that this is not a significant competition in any way, but it is the first one that I have ever entered and I am at least a little excited and happy. Thanks for all the input on my images.

Congratulations Richard! I remember when you originally posted this image - I thought how nice it would be to be sailing in such a beautiful location. Beautiful image.

Congrats Richard. It doesn't matter how big the show is - it's the recognition for a job well done and the fact that others like what you are doing. It makes it all worthwhile.

Congratulations Richard! Great placement of the boat. I also like the moody cloud cover and the snow covered mountains peeking through. I can see why it was picked. Beautiful work.
