A porky red squirrel with belly ache ...LOL
Taken last weekend with the motley crew ...all aboard the charabanc !
Two hours in a frozen stream and we gave up and headed for the woods, just so we could say we took a picture ..
Numbers have dwindled over the last twelve months with the local trust notified of numbers spotted and a strange fungal growth to claws on one or two squirrels .. They are on the case ..

Cloned out peanut shell from arm .

I recognise that Squidger...!

Nice to get a 'keeper' considering all the circs - looks to me like he's only shown up for the pizza; and like me he was disappointed - damned teachers!

Make a nice editorial with plenty of room for text underneath too. :wavey:

Great shot Mark - the only squirrels I have are large and grey, and eat all the bird nuts! :toast:

Good one Mark.
The out of focus foreground leads the eye up through the scene to the branch then straight on to the squirrel.
The portrait format works well here with the squirrel positioned high in the frame.

A classic Red Squirrel image Mark
Sad to hear they're having problems, hope it's sorted soon.
Well captured.

Hello Mark.

Very nice with some good light on the squirrel, but it the setting that I really like and with the squirrel just make for an excellent shot.
